R J Dent reads Baudelaire
When Brighton’s Poetry Society met at The Cella in the Sanctuary Café on Monday, 26th March, 2007, R J Dent read a selection of poems from his recent translation of Charles Baudelaire’s decadent masterpiece, Les Fleurs du Mal, published by Creation Books in the autumn of 2007.

The reading included two of the controversial and banned poems, Jewels and Metamorphosis of the Vampire.

He also read: The Sun, ‘To a Woman Passing By’, A Previous Life, and ‘When she walks it’s as though she dances…’ , the final three of which were broadcast on Brighton’s Radio Reverb.
